NAMI Maine to host screening of original Lifetime movie “Call Me Crazy”
LEWISTON —
The film brings together an all-star ensemble cast with five interwoven stories about the ways that love, support and hope can help overcome mental health conditions, specifically schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder and PTSD. The film features Jennifer Hudson, Brittany Snow, Melissa Leo, Octavia Spencer, Sarah Hyland, and was executive produced by Jennifer Aniston, Marta Kauffman, Kristin Hahn, Kevin Chinoy and Francesca Silvestri.
This showing is being hosted by the Bates College chapter of Active Minds, a student-run organization dedicated to raising mental health awareness among college students. The film’s goal is to help eradicate stigma and raise mental health awareness. All are welcome. A facilitated discussion will follow the screening. There is no registration required.
