PARIS — Selectmen on Monday approved a new three-year contract for auditing services.
According to Town Manager Amy Bernard, the town received two bids to preform annual audits of the town’s finances.
In a unanimous vote, selectmen awarded the contract to RHR Smith of from Buxton. Bernard said the company bid $7,500, compared to the $7,995 bid submitted by Smith and Associates of Yarmouth.
The town budgeted $8,000 for auditing services in 2014-2015, Bernard said.
She told selectmen she worked with RHR Smith when she served as town manager in Wayne and found it to be extremely thorough and detailed in their assessment of the town’s finances.
