OXFORD — A 19-year-old man was injured when he drove his vehicle into a telephone pole Thursday night.

According to police, Benjamin Gould, of King Street, Oxford, was driving eastbound on King Street at 8:45 p.m. Thursday when he apparently fell asleep and drove his green, 2002 Dodge Dakota, into a telephone pole.
