LEWISTON — Maine Taxpayers United will hold its annual Tax Day Rally on Sunday, May 4, at the Franco American Heritage Center, 46 Cedar St. Doors will be open by 1:30 p.m; program begins at 2 p.m.

Former Republican state Rep. Beth O’Connor, chairwoman of Maine Taxpayers United, will preside. The public is invited to attend.

Guest speakers include Gov. Paul LePage; Susan Dench, founder of the Informed Women’s Network; and former Republican state Sen. Carol Weston, who is executive director of Americans for Prosperity Maine.

Many candidates and citizens groups are also planning to attend and will be available to meet with the general public.

There is no admission, and refreshments will be available; the program will end by 4 p.m.
