AUBURN — The police want your drugs. The legal ones you no longer need or want, that is.
On Saturday, police and volunteers will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bedard’s Pharmacy at 359 Minot Ave. to take those drugs off your hands. The local department is participating in the National Drug Take-Back event held across the country.
Motorists may use the drive-through window to dispose of prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, veterinary drugs, vitamins and homeopathic treatments. Police cannot accept needles and syringes, electronics and items containing mercury.
