Emera Maine crews are planning to conduct maintenance to the electrical system on Thursday, May 8. Areas affected are all of French Island, South Water Street, Middle, North and South Brunswick Streets, Route 2 or South Main Street and all side streets off of Route 2 to the Orono town line. The expected time of the maintenance will be 2-6 a.m. Of it is raining the work will be done on Friday, May 9. This is a necessary interruption to enable an upgrade of Emera’s system.
