LEWISTON — Owner/designer Alex Olsen announces that the Devils Grove Disc Golf Course, 455 Grove St., is open in Lewiston with a full 18-hole disc golf course and practice basket. It is open seven days a week during daylight hours. This will be its first summer season.

There is a pro shop that sells disc golf merchandise, drinks, snacks and has rental discs. There will be a weekly bring-your-own doubles tourney every Wednesday evening with active ace pot, and also a singles league every Sunday morning.

Olsen, a 2009 Lewiston High School graduate, has a goal to continue to grow the sport and get more kids outdoors. He has been playing disc golf for 10 years.

The 46-acre disc golf getaway, just minutes from the inner city, has plans for another 18-hole pro course in the future.
