WILTON — Four people were injured in a one-vehicle crash early Sunday morning on Route 133.
Sonya Tourtelotte, 17, of Jay was driving a 2004 Ford Taurus at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday when her vehicle went off the road, rolled over once and landed in a ditch, Wilton police Sgt. Chad Abbott read from the police report.
Apparently the driver was distracted by her passengers and when she turned to look at them, the vehicle drifted off the road, he relayed from Wilton police officer Andrew Hardy’s report.
James Metzger, 19, of Livermore Falls was the front-seat passenger and Michael Brown, 17, and Brett Tozier, 20, both of Jay, also were passengers in the vehicle.
All were wearing seat belts, he said.
Metzger received injuries, but Abbott could not tell from the report if he was taken to the hospital. He was not treated at Franklin Memorial Hospital, according to a hospital spokesman.
Tourtelotte complained of pain. Brown received bruises to the face and Tozier had bruises to the head, according to the report.
NorthStar Ambulance and Wilton Fire Department also responded to the scene.
