Thomas J. McMahon Elementary School in Lewiston recently received a donation from patrons of Hannaford Supermarket in Lewiston, as well as from Hannaford. From September to the end of December last year, customers received Hannaford dollars they could turn in to their school. McMahon received the most Hannaford dollars from customers, which leveraged an additional $1,000 donation from Hannaford. It is the second year in a row McMahon school has won the prize money. At the donation, store manager Randy Hoyt, second from right, presented the check to school librarian Anne Lajoie. From left, front row, are Crew Langley and Andrew Kearney; back row, Principal Tom Hood, Ben Kase, Kaitlyn Kearney, Olivia Coachman and Landon deWildt.
