DIXFIELD — The Board of Selectmen will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday to discuss the two budget articles voted down last week.
The June 16 meeting will be held at the Ludden Memorial Library.
Voters at the June 10 referendum rejected the Executive Department budget, 206-217, and the Code Enforcement budget, 192-210. The proposed Executive Department budget was $297,667, which was $18,325 less than this fiscal year, while the Code Enforcement budget was $15,515, or $750 less than in 2013-14.
In other business, the board will appoint a chairman and vice chairman.
Chairman Mac Gill said he will step down this year, but will continue serving on the board.
Selectmen also plan to discuss the summer schedule for their meetings and whether the town should apply for another Community Oriented Policing Services grant.
