A nearly 3-year-old boy who fell from a third-floor apartment window at 105 Walnut St. on Friday afternoon is placed in an ambulance as police, right, look at the scene. The boy landed on a narrow strip of grass next to the building. A translator, speaking for the boy’s mother, told police the boy was standing at the window when the screen gave way and he tumbled out. He was unconscious when police arrived, but was crying and waving his arms when he was taken to Central Maine Medical Center by United Ambulance.
