FARMINGTON — A Bangor man was injured Sunday afternoon when his motorcycle was struck as he attempted a left hand turn from the Farmington Falls Road.
Eric Roy, 34, was taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital by NorthStar ambulance with two broken bones in his right leg, Bonnie Pomeroy, Farmington police secretary said.
Roy was traveling north on a 1989 Harley-Davidson about 1:30 p.m. when he stopped to make a left-hand turn on to Croswell Road, Pomeroy read from officer Ryan Wagner’s report.
A 2006 Subaru driven by Jean Oplinger, 67, of Farmington was behind him and struck the motorcycle.
Oplinger was given a warning for following too close, she said.
Members of Farmington Fire and Rescue helped at the scene.
