PARIS — The Paris Public Library will hold its annual used book sale on Saturdays, July 26 and Aug. 2. A bag sale will be held Aug. 9.

The sale will be held at the old Paris Farmers’ Union building at Main Street and Skilling Avenue from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

Hardcover books will sell for $1 each, trade paperbacks for 50 cents each, and mass market paperbacks for 25 cents each the first two days of the sale. VHS tapes will sell for 50 cents each.

On Aug. 9, buyers can fill a standard plastic grocery bag with any items for $1.

The money raised helps support the library’s children’s collection; last year’s sale raised over $2,900.

For more information, contact the library at 743-6994 or email [email protected].

Donations toward the sale may be brought to the library when it is open. Pickups of contributions can be arranged by contacting the library’s staff.
