RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Grace Frances Johnston of Belfast was celebrated at noon on Saturday, July 19, at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius — St. John Church, 126 Maine Ave., Rumford, with the Rev. Greg Dube as celebrant. Altar assistant was Bernard Poirier. Organist was Mark Belanger. Music selections included “Amazing Grace,” “Because the Lord Is My Shepherd,” “How Great Thou Art” and “Be Not Afraid.” Readings from the Old and New Testaments were pronounced by Barbara Doherty. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Greg Dube. Interment was at the Rumford Point Cemetery on Whipperwill Road, Rumford Point. A reception followed at the Black Diamond Steak House on the Sunday River Road, Bethel. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., P.O. Box 537, Rumford, ME 04276.
