RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Roland D. Milligan Sr. was celebrated Thursday morning, July 31, at the Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius-St. John Church, with the Rev. Alfred Jacques as the celebrant.

Bernard Poirier was the altar assistant. Readings were presented by Tim Hansen and Roland Milligan Jr., and a poem was read by Erica Glover. Bearers were Roland Milligan Jr., Mark Milligan, David Glover, Greg Merchant, Steve Hansen and Paul Gravel. Mark Belanger was the organist and musical selections included “Be Not Afraid,” “Amazing Grace,” “How Great Thou Art” and “Fly Like A Bird.”

Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Alfred Jacques. Interment was at St. John Cemetery in Rumford. A reception was served by the Daughters of Isabella in the church hall. Arrangements were under the direction of Meader & Son Funeral Home in Rumford.
