RANGELEY – The Board of Selectmen named fire Chief Tim Pellerin interim town manager Monday.

Pellerin will assume the position after Town Manager Tiki White leaves for the birth of her first child. The chief will continue in both positions until Dec. 31, while the board continues its search for a town manager.

In other business, it was announced that the pump station generators were scheduled to arrive Aug. 14, but the delivery had not been verified by the time of the meeting. Main-Land Development Consultants was given the go-ahead to start the project to rework runoff to Lakeside Park.

Water mains have been replaced on High Street to prepare for repaving. A. E. Hodsdon Consulting Engineers informed the board that when the rebuilding project moves to School Street, it will utilized two crews to stay on schedule.
