LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Democratic Committee will host a volunteer appreciation barbecue from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, at 814 Main St.

2nd District Congressional Rep. Mike Michaud, a candidate for governor, and state Sen. Emily Cain, a candidate for the 2nd Congressional District, and local Democratic candidates are expected to attend.
