LIVERMORE FALLS — No resident has called the Town Office to volunteer to serve on the RSU 73 board of directors, Town Manager Kristal Flagg said Tuesday.
A person from Livermore asked about the position and was told it pertained to a Livermore Falls resident, she said.
Selectmen agreed in August that the first person to call the office with interest to serve on the board would be appointed to it.
Former Director Carmen Cullen resigned in early August. She moved out of the district to take a position within Cumberland Farms.
There are about 10 months left on her three-year term.
The person appointed would serve until the next election in June 2015 and have the option to run for a three-year term.
The Town Office number is 897-3321.
