AUBURN — Manpower Maine announces the promotion of April Clark to president.
She will be responsible for providing strategic leadership by working with the management team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies, while actively supporting and enhancing the Manpower brand.
Clark graduated from the University of Maine with a bachelor of arts degree in communication in 1985 and immediately joined the Manpower team as a service representative. In her 29 years with Manpower, she has held a variety of roles and participated in all facets of developing creative approaches to satisfying client staffing needs and exceeding expectations. For the past 18 years, she has been vice president.
In addition to her commitment to the organization, Clark is an active member and trusted adviser in her local and business community, serving on the Maine State Council of Society for Human Resource Management for the past eight years; serves as its district director; served in leadership roles on the board and various committees, executive committee for the Association of Manpower Franchise Owners; AMFO board of directors; along with a number of human resource, training and workforce related organizations over her tenure at Manpower.
Clark resides in Lewiston with her husband and two children.
