The town of Milford has received notification from the Maine Department of Transportation that the County  Road bridge will need to be closed from 9 p.m. Sunday, September 7 until 5:30 a.m. on Monday September 8.  The closure is necessary for the moving of equipment, and excavation of material under the bridge.  Traffic will need to be re-routed during this time.  Emergency personnel have been notified of the necessary closure.

Repairs will continue on the bridge for the next several weeks; town officials are not expecting the need for any further road closures.  However, there may be 15-20 minute delays during construction.
