PARIS — Selectmen will meet Monday to discuss a variety of topics on a packed agenda schedule.
Sandra Swett will deliver a status update on a study of the downtown commissioned a few months ago to generate community ideas on how to revamp the Market Square area.
The evening will be a chance for selectmen to pitch their ideas on Swett’s work, similar to a community public hearing last month. The comprehensive survey, replete with recommendations for using ideas from many community groups, is expected to be finished by the end of October.
Town Manager Amy Bernard is recommending purchasing a used police car from Harrison for $2,500 to replace a 2003 Chevy Impala in need of significant repair work.
The board will also consider one request each for a parade and 5k road race.
