GARDINER — After falling behind 2-0 in the first half, Leavitt clawed back as the two squads ended up at a 2-2 deadlock in more girls’ soccer action Friday.
Morgan Carver and Lauren Chadwick each scored for the struggling Bulldogs (0-3-2), while Amanda Poulin and Shannon O’Malley tallied for the Hornets (1-2-2).
Lauren Boyington made 10 saves for Gardiner, while Angela Daigle turned aside four shots for Leavitt.
Edward Little 8, Skowhegan 1
SKOWHEGAN — Piper Norcross scored a hat trick Friday to propel Edward Little to an 8-1 romp over Skowhegan in a KVAC girls’ soccer tilt.
Makayla Norcross chipped in for the Red Eddies (4-0-1) with two goals, while single tallies by Grace Beaudet, Mariah Vaillancourt and Lauren Berube completed the scoring. Mikayla Lewia scored the lone goal for Skowhegan.
Molly Murray made three saves for Edward Little, while Maddy Schrader deflected 14 shots for Skowhegan.

Lisbon 4, Hall-Dale 0
LISBON — Arianna Kahler led a group of four players to record goals Friday as Lisbon hustled to a 4-0 rout over Hall-Dale.
Chase Collier, Kate Philbrick and Molly Nicholson also tallied for the Greyhounds (6-1) to complete the scoring.
Stevie Charest needed only two saves to preserve the shutout.
Dirigo 2, Mountain Valley 0
DIXFIELD — Emma Lueders netted a goal in each half Friday as Dirigo rolled to a 2-0 win over Mountain Valley in a mid-season MVC tilt.
Morgan Morrow made 19 saves to notch the shutout, while Kassie Thibodeau turned aside 17 shots for the Falcons.
Oak Hill 6, Boothbay 2
BOOTHBAY — Oak Hill put up three goals in each half Friday and came away with a 6-2 victory over Boothbay to continue its best field hockey season in decades.
Kylee Veilleux and Sadie Goulet led the powerhouse Raiders (7-0) with two goals each, while Lexi Fuller and Danielle Samson also tallied. Skyler Davis scored both goals for Boothbay (2-4-1).
Abby Fuller (3) and Megan Labbe (3) combined to record six saves for Oak Hill, while Erica Eames deflected 15 shots for Boothbay.
Bangor 1, Lewiston 0
LEWISTON — Sara Pinette scored the lone goal to lift Bangor to a 1-0 victory over Lewiston in KVAC field hockey action Friday afternoon.
The Rams (1-5) outshot the Blue Devils (1-5) by a margin of 10-3, while gaining the edge in corners, 9-3, as well. Pinette scored her goal 23:15 into the first half for Bangor.
Goalie Kaylynn Labonte made eight saves for Lewiston in the losing effort.
Boys’ soccer
Leavitt 3, Gardiner 2
TURNER — Tyler Roux netted his third goal of the contest with 24 minutes left in regulation to give Leavitt a 3-2 victory over Gardiner in KVAC boys’ soccer action Friday.
Ben Fullerton was also key for the Hornets (3-2), making 10 saves overall including two vital ones within the final two minutes of play.
Jake Folsom and Larrson Lunt each scored for the Tigers (1-4), who came at Leavitt with all guns blazing in the game’s final stages. Kenneth Moore turned aside 10 shots between the posts for Gardiner.
Lisbon 5, Wiscasset 0
LISBON — Austin Fournier netted a pair of goals Friday as Lisbon continued its hot streak with a 5-0 win over Wiscasset.
Jonah Sautter, Austin Bedford and Nick Huston also tallied for Dan Sylvester’s undefeated Greyhounds (5-0) to complete the scoring.
Ryley Austin needed only three saves to preserve the shutout.
St. Dom’s 3, Telstar 0
BETHEL — Austin Roy netted a pair of first-half goals to propel St. Dom’s to a 3-0 victory over Telstar in a WMC matchup Friday.
Ryan Lutrzkowski also tallied in the first frame for St. Dom’s to complete the scoring.
Ben Sawyer needed only two saves to notch the shutout.
Winslow 4, Spruce Mountain 0
JAY — Jimmy Fowler scored a hat trick as Winslow sailed to a 4-0 victory over Spruce Mountain in KVAC boys’ soccer action Friday afternoon.
The Black Raiders dominated in the first half, scoring three goals before the half.
Goalie Nick Guild made 18 saves for the Phoenix, while goalie Alex Berard stopped two to earn the win in net for Winslow.
Monmouth 4, Dirigo 0
MONMOUTH — Sophomore center forward Hunter Richardson recorded the opening goal and three assists to lead Monmouth to a 4-0 victory over Dirigo in MVC boys’ soccer action Friday.
The Mustangs (4-1) altered their formation midway through the first half to control the ball at the midfield. Monmouth led 2-0 at the half.
Goalie Justin Grignon made 24 saves for the Cougars (1-3), while goalie Kasey Smith repelled six to earn the win in net for Monmouth.
Oak Hill 3, Winthrop 1
WINTHROP — Kaleb Sturtevant scored two goals in the second half to lead Oak Hill to a 3-1 triumph over Winthrop in boys’ soccer action Friday afternoon.
The Ramblers struck first with a first half goal by Patrick Ouellette.
Goalie Matt Sekerak made 20 saves for Winthrop, while Kyle Field prevented five to earn the win in net for the Raiders.
Edward Little 4, Skowhegan 1
AUBURN — Maslah Hassan scored all four goals for Edward Little while Luke Sterling, Elijah Roe, and Jarod Norcross Plourde chipped in with assists as the Red Eddies ran over Skowhegan 4-1 in KVAC boys’ soccer action Friday.
Llewellyn Jensen stopped four shots for the Eddies. Brendan Curran scored for the Indians on an assist from Kyle Davis.
The Eddies had 39 shots, but keeper Daquan Frost held strong in net for Skowhegan, turning back 19 of them. Edward Little improves to 3-1-1, while the loss drops Skowhegan to 0-3-2.
