Christine Holden, left, and Peter Skowronski lead a group of about 50 people down Main Street Auburn Sunday afternoon during a Climate Change March. The Auburn march coincided with a much larger march happening in New York City Sunday. “There were at least 600 Mainers who went down to New York City today, but there were also a number of folks who couldn’t make it,” said organizer Wendy Schlotterbeck. “So we wanted to have a solidarity march. There are a lot of people concerned about the environment. We don’t have much longer and we really need to bring it to people’s attention.” People from all over Maine participated in Sunday’s March in Auburn.
