HAMPTON FALLS, N.H. — Police say an 88-year-old woman was killed when her car went off a road in southeast New Hampshire and crashed.

Authorities say Laurette Pike died at the scene. They didn’t provide her hometown.

The crash happened about 2 p.m. Friday on Route 84 in Hampton Falls.

Police say the motorist wasn’t wearing a seat belt; speed and alcohol didn’t appear to be factors in the crash and authorities are trying to determine what happened to cause the car to go off the road.
