CARRABASSETT VALLEY — Police are investigating a burglary at a residence on Long Falls Dam Road, according to Carrabassett Valley police Chief Mark Lopez.
A generator, two chairs and assorted household items valued at approximately $2,000 were taken, he said.
Although reported Friday afternoon, police said the burglary occurred within the past two weeks. Someone forced their way into the home, he said.
Police have no leads or suspects at this time. They plan to check with the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office and state police to see if there have been similar incidents in the area, he said.
