TUCSON, Ariz. — Normand Richard Fournier, 87, of Tucson, Ariz., died Monday, Nov. 3, at Pueblo Springs Rehab Facility in Tucson.

He was born in Auburn on Dec. 26, 1926, a son of John Henry Fournier and Isabel Martin. He was a member of Acacia Masonic Lodge No. 121 in Durham since 1972 and a Shriner since 1995.

He was an adventurous man and loved motorcycles, scuba diving and flying, having a private pilot’s license.

During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Princeton; he also served in the Korean War.

He was an electrician for a number of years at both the Bates Mill and Tampax.

He is survived by son, John Henry Fournier and wife, Kathryn, and grandchildren, Elizabeth and Joshua, of Tucson, Ariz.; sister, Isabella, of Ohio; brother, Albert and wife, Theresa, of Connecticut; sister, Virginia and husband, Claude, of North Carolina; and numerous much-loved nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brothers, John, Robert and Ernest; and a sister, Lousia.
