Remembrance for lost babies

LEWISTON — An Evening of Remembrance will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at Holy Family Church, 607 Sabattus St.

Not every pregnancy is easy to talk about. The service is a way to remember and honor a baby.

If you or someone you know suffered the loss of a child through miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion, early infant death or other reproductive loss recently or a long time ago, you are invited to a prayerful evening for remembering and honoring the lives of these children — no matter how brief their lives were.

People of all faiths are welcome.

Bible study on saints of Christmas

AUBURN — The United Methodist Church of Auburn is offering a four-week Bible Study titled “Bible Saints of Christmas.” The class starts Sunday, Nov. 30, at the United Methodist Church, 439 Park Ave.

Would you like to meet some of the faithful who prepared the way for the birth of Christ? Attendees will study the relevant portions of the book “Christ in His Saints” by Rev. Patrick Henry Reardon. He is an orthodox priest who always brings humor and insight.
