NORWAY — The United Way of Oxford County has hired a new executive director.

Kim Preble started at the United Way this month and will be taking over for longtime Executive Director Dennis Gray when he retires at the end of the year. Gray served as executive director for the past 22 years.

Preble comes to the United Way from Safe Voices, where she served as the fundraising and volunteer coordinator for the past two years. She and Gray will work together until he retires in December.

The United Way of Oxford County has been operating since 1988. The office recently moved into the Key Bank Building on Main St. in Norway.
