LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce will host a seminar on workplace violence from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, at the chamber, 415 Lisbon St.

Preparing for Workplace Violence will be be presented by Quentin Chapman of Corporate Intelligence Inc. He will take a close look at mitigation, preparedness and response to violent situations inside or outside of the workplace and schools. There will also be a look at emergency action planning and how it affects employee, staff and student ability to make urgent, rapid decisions during a crisis, minimizing damage and loss to life and property.
