BETHEL — Funeral services celebrating the life of Barbara A. Douglass of Dunbarton, N.H., and formerly of Bethel were conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, at the West Parish Congregational Church, Bethel, with the Rev. Richard L. Bennett officiating.

The organist was Elizabeth Smith. Music selections were “O Savior, Let Me Walk With You,” “O Love That Will Not Let Me Go” and “Dear Lord and Father of Mankind.” A gift of music “Amazing Grace” was presented by granddaughters, Andrea Hutchins Sickinger and Karen Hutchins Bieluch, granddaughter-in-law, Brittany Wolf Weeks, and guitarist, grandson, Porter A. Weeks.

A reading from Ecclesiastes was presented by great-granddaughter Ella Kellogg. A scripture reading from Corinthians was presented by granddaughter Karen Hutchins Bieluch.

Words of remembrance were given by granddaughters Brooke Weeks Rapp and Andrea Hutchins Sickinger, great-granddaughter Lauren B. Rapp and son-in-law Peter Weeks, who also read “A Love for Living,” written by daughter Barbara Weeks, and by several friends in attendance.

A reception followed in Garland Chapel of the church, served by the church ladies.

Interment will be in the spring will be at the Riverside Cemetery, North Road, Bethel.
