White finished the game with five points. Karen Flaherty led the Falcons (10-5) with seven points,while Emily Laubauskas scored six. Sydney LeBlanc led Madison (7-8) with eight points.

POLAND — Nathalie Theriault scored a game-high 17 points to lead Poland to a 39-29 victory over Wells in WMC girls’ basketball action Saturday.
Natalie Thurber tossed a team-high 12 points for Wells.

AUBURN — Faith Grady tossed a game-high 23 points to lead St. Dom’s to a 54-26 victory over Telstar in MVC girls’ basketball Saturday.
The Saints (6-10) consistently scored 11 or 12 points in each of the first three quarters before finishing off with 19 in the final frame. Allie Veinote hit seven 3-pointers for 21 points.
Becca Howard collected a team-leading 12 points for the Rebels (0-16).
Rangeley 51, Richmond 43
RANGELEY — Senior forward Taylor Esty netted a game-high 19 points to lead unbeaten Rangeley to a 51-43 victory over Richmond in EWC girls’ basketball Saturday.
Blayke Morin scored 10 points, eight from the free-throw line, to go along with nine rebounds and eight assists for Rangeley (15-0).
Freshman forward Sydney Tilton tossed a team-leading 12 points for the Bobcats (10-8).
Hall-Dale 56, Lisbon 26
LISBON — Junior guard Thea Sweet knocked down 14 points as Hall-Dale dispatched Lisbon 56-26 in MVC girls’ basketball Saturday.
The Bulldogs (10-5) jumped out to a 24-8 halftime lead. Junior guard Bree Sautter scored a team-high eight points for the Greyhounds (3-13), while Kipri Steele hauled down 10 rebounds.
Gray-New Gloucester 61, Kennebunk 43
KENNEBUNK — Maria Valente and Skye Conley each recorded 18 points as Gray-New Gloucester coasted to a 61-43 victory over Kennebunk in WMC girls’ basketball Saturday.
The Patriots (15-1) took a 17-6 lead in the first quarter. Grace Kariotis chipped in nine points. Eliza Bartlett tallied 11 for the Rams (2-14).
Buckfield 37, Seacoast Christian 28
BUCKFIELD — Buckfield broke open a one-point lead in the fourth quarter and prevailed 37-28 over Seacoast Christian in girls’ basketball Saturday.
Junior guard Alexis Bennett scored a game-high 10 points for the Bucks (6-10), including six in the final quarter. Senior center Courtney Williams had eight points for the Guardians (6-10).
Maranacook 55, Leavitt 25
READFIELD — Christine Miller poured in a game-high 17 points to lead Maranacook to a 55-25 victory over Leavitt in KVAC girls’ basketball Saturday.
The Black Bears forced 21 Leavitt turnovers in the first half and led 41-12. Junior center Chantel Eells provided the Hornets (6-10) with a team-leading 16 points, six rebounds, four steals and four blocks.
Spruce Mountain 70, Gardiner 62
GARDINER — Kailee Newcomb collected 15 points to lead undefeated Spruce Mountain past Gardiner 70-62 in KVAC girls’ basketball Saturday.
The Phoenix (16-0) catapulted to a 28-9 first quarter lead. Samantha Richards contributed 13 points. Morgan Carver recorded a game-high 23 points for the Tigers (6-10).
Lawrence 49, Mt. Blue 37
FAIRFIELD — Nia Irving provided a game-high 19 points to lead Lawrence to a 49-37 victory over Mt. Blue in KVAC girls’ basketball Saturday.
The Bulldogs (14-0) took a 16-6 first quarter lead. Dominique Lewis added 11 points for Lawrence. Caitlin Kane tossed in 17 for Mt. Blue (10-5).

Spruce Mountain 51, Leavitt 36
JAY — Senior Peter Theriault recorded 13 points to lead Spruce Mountain to a 51-36 victory over Leavitt in KVAC boys’ basketball action Saturday.
Anthony York provided 12 points on five field goals and a pair of free throws to go along with nine rebounds for Spruce Mountain.
Senior Isaiah Calder tallied a team-leading 12 points for the Hornets on three field goals, including a three-pointer, and five free throws for Leavitt in the losing effort.
Rangeley 45, Richmond 40
RANGELEY — Timmy White rattled off 25 points, including three field goals from beyond the arc, to rally Rangeley to a 45-40 victory over Richmond in EWC boys’ basketball Saturday.
The Bobcats (9-5) led 39-30 after three quarters, but the determined Lakers (5-10) sailed through the final frame with a 15-1 margin to take the victory. Matt Holt recorded 15 points for Richmond.
Seacoast Christian 65, Buckfield 43
BUCKFIELD — Junior center Tim Yeaton compiled 25 points to lead Seacoast Christian to a 65-43 victory over Buckfield in boys’ basketball Saturday.
The Guardians (14-2) jumped out to an 18-6 first quarter lead. Senior guard Issac LaCroix scored 10 of his 19 points in the period. Jake Kraske provided 17 points for the Bucks (4-12).

Poland/Gray-NG/Oak Hill 4, Westbrook 0
AUBURN — Ethan Cailler had two goals and an assist to lead the Poland/Gray-New Gloucester/Oak Hill 26ers to a 4-0 boys’ hockey victory over Westbrook.
Ryan Lavoie had a goal and an assist, while Brandon Pelton added a goal for the 26ers (5-6), who peppered Blazes (0-11-1) goalie Alex LeBlanc with 54 shots. Nick Hemond made 13 saves in the shutout.
Edward Little 5, Cony 1
AUGUSTA — Branden Dyer notched a hat trick as Edward Little glided to a 5-1 victory over Cony in boys’ ice hockey action Saturday.
The Red Eddies (7-6) scored five unanswered goals over two periods before the Rams (3-8) managed a single tally in the game. Evan Bowers netted the lone Cony goal.
Matt Verrill and Max Giard scored the second and fourth Edward Little goal, respectively.
Goalie Tommy Small made 20 saves for Cony, while goalie Devin Dumont turned away 16 shots to earn the win in net for Edward Little.
Girls’ hockey
Edward Little/Leavitt/Poland 9, Brunswick 0
AUBURN — Angel Drouin, Haley Frohlich and Saige Arsenault each had two goals to lead the Edward Little/Leavitt/Poland Red Hornets to a 9-0 girls’ hockey victory over Brunswick.
Arseneault and Frohlich also had assists. Emma Martineau, Kaylee Younk and Maddy DeRosa each added a goal. Mariah Vaillancourt finished the game with four assists.
