CASCO — FirstLight HomeCare Southern Maine, a provider of nonmedical, in-home care, has earned national distinction as a Best of Home Care Provider of Choice, granted by Home Care Pulse.

The award evaluates client satisfaction based on monthly third-party phone interviews with the agency’s clients, conducted by Home Care Pulse, an independent survey company. To qualify for the award, a company’s client satisfaction scores must rank in the top percentile nationally.

The owners, husband and wife team Peter Gartland and Carol Larkin, credit their success to the company’s focus on excellent customer service delivered by an extraordinary team of skilled, compassionate caregivers.
