RUMFORD — Family nurse practitioner Kara Tripp has joined Swift River Family Medicine in Rumford. She is also providing patient care at the Rumford Hospital Urgent Care Center.

Prior to beginning her work in Rumford, Tripp worked for two years as a registered nurse at Sandy River Nursing Center in Farmington. From 2007 to 2011, she was a family support worker with Community Concepts in Lewiston.

Tripp is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is licensed by the Maine State Board of Nursing. She is also certified by the American Heart Association.
