The Juke Joint Devils will perform at She Doesn’t Like Guthries in Lewiston on Friday, Feb. 27, beginning at 8 p.m.  The Juke Joint Devils play an energetic, swinging blues that isn’t heard much these days. It’s a foot-stomping, hip-shaking genre that harkens back to that swampy, riffy, rocky sound people heard it noisy bars. The Juke Joint Devils play a mix of West Coast and Chicago Blues, with a bit of spice from New Orleans and elsewhere. The band features International Blues Challenge finalists Tommy O’Connell on harp and vocals and Sean Bowman stand-up bass, Johnny Moran on drums, and with Stefan Iris on guitar. There is no cover.
