LEWISTON — Dr. Bruce Condit has been awarded the 2015 Hastings Center Cunniff-Dixon mid-career palliative care physician award.

The Hastings Center Cunniff-Dixon Physician Awards provide financial prizes to physicians who have shown their care of patients to be exemplary and a model of good medicine for other physicians.

Condit is founder and director of the CMMC palliative care program and a member of the hospitalist group. He was nominated by his CMMC co-workers and his family for the $25,000 award.

He lives with his family in Auburn.
