LISBON — Five people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries Sunday following a two-vehicle accident in Lisbon, police said.

A 2007 Toyota Camry driven by Brittany Tucker, 28, of Durham and a 2005 Chevrolet passenger van driven by Shane Conant, 57, of Lisbon Falls collided at about 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Tucker was eastbound when her car crossed the centerline into the westbound lane and struck Conant’s van nearly head-on, according to Lt. Dan Michel.

Michel said Tucker was driving too fast for the snowy conditions. An investigation is underway, he said.

Tucker, a male adult passenger and her three young children sustained minor injuries and were treated at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Michel said.

Tucker was not charged, he said.

All drivers and passengers were wearing seat belts and the air bags deployed.
