WILTON — At their meeting last week, members of the select board agreed to change the dates for town elections and the annual town meeting.

Town Manager Rhonda Irish told the select board that the voting for the Regional School Unit 58 budget will be held on Tuesday, June 9. She suggested holding the town elections on that date rather than a week earlier. That would move the annual meeting to Monday, June 15. The board agreed with the change of dates.

Nomination papers are still available at the town office for two school board positions and one select board member. Tom Saviello will not be seeking another term on the select board. Angela Leclair will be seeking re-election for a three-year school board term. There are no known candidates for a one-year school board term. The term had been held by James Black who had to step down when he became dean of students and athletic director for RSU 58.
