NORWAY — The Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce recently helped welcome a new business to Main Street.

Sew Orchid Design opened its doors on Sunday, March 15, for its grand opening event and ribbon cutting ceremony. John Williams, the Chamber’s executive director, was on hand to help owner Barbara Daigle cut the ribbon. Also joining them was Chamber board member Bruce Little and several of Daigle’s family members and friends.

Located on 316 Main Street in Norway, Sew Orchid Design offers all the things needed for sewing. Daigle will also be teaching sewing classes for both children and adults. She is a Martha Pullen licensed teacher and registered Kids Can Sew instructor.

The store’s regular business hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday; and 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
