The works of a painter and a photographer are on display at the Central Maine Medical Center Woman’s Hospital Association Rotating Art Gallery through the remainder of March.

Paintings by Irene Duplissis and photographs by Margrie Cantin are on display in the main lobby hallway near the 60 High Street CMMC entrance.

Duplissis has been painting professionally for many years. She has devoted much time to teaching art locally, participating in workshops and developing her own talent. Her work, which frequently depicts the character of New England, can be seen at her gallery in Auburn, as well as in private collections throughout the United States and abroad.

Cantin, a New Gloucester resident, is a self-trained photographer who is inspired by the beauty of Maine. She enjoys photographing sunsets, wildlife, waterfalls, and other natural scenes.

The artwork on display may be purchased through the WHA Gift Shop, located adjacent to the Main Lobby. A percentage of sales proceeds benefit CMMC.
