RANGELEY — Forks in the Air Mountain Bistro is named one of Down East magazine’s Best New Restaurants.

The issue is on newsstands and includes editors’ choices for 32 favorite restaurants in Maine that have been open two years or less. Each featured restaurant includes a “Best reason to go.” Forks in the Air Mountain Bistro was chosen for “A welcome break from the seafood-saturated coast.”

Forks in the Air Mountain Bistro is at 2485 Main St. Owned by the Kupstas family who began vacationing in the area in 1962, it began as a passion for great food shared with family and friends.
