BANGOR — Oxford Hills Technical School students competed at the annual SkillsUSA Maine Championships in Bangor on March 8 and 9. The following students brought home medals:
* Bronze in Wedding Cake Decorating: Abby Angevine, Norway, and Cody Dzik, Oxford.
* Bronze in Digital Cinema Production: Cody Colley, Norway, and Brandon Pelletier, South Paris.
* Bronze in Extemporaneous Speaking: Jeff Merrill,Waterford.
* Bronze in Carpentry Knowledge: Jared Hall, Otisfield.
* Silver in Automotive Tool Identification: Chris Smith, South Paris.
* Silver in T-Shirt Design: Jenna Silver, South Paris.
* Gold in Collision Repair Technology, Dustin Vachon, Hebron.
Dustin will represent Maine at the National Championships in Louisville in June.
Also, Courtney Fox, Waterford, has been elected to be a SkillsUSA state officer. Courtney is Oxford Hills’s first state officer!
