DIXFIELD — Anne M. Johnson, M.D., has joined Elsemore Dixfield Family Medicine to provide care for children and adults.
She also provides prenatal care at her clinic and at Rumford Hospital’s Special Delivery Family Birthing Center. In addition, she is a Central Maine Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Rural Track faculty member.
Johnson completed residency training at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center Family Medicine Residency in Syracuse, N.Y.
A graduate of Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass., she earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine in Duluth. Her educational background also includes one year as a resident with the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency in Lebanon, N.H.
Johnson is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She has additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support, advanced life support in obstetrics, pediatric advanced life support, and neonatal resuscitation, among others.
She is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Academy of Family Physicians.
