Season outlook: The departure of seven seniors means that half the Hornets have never played varsity baseball. Morin, one of the Hornets’ top pitchers, also graduated. Lone senior Davis is a four-year starter. With a wealth of staff aces in the KVAC, it will be important for the Hornets to develop depth throughout the staff in order to make a playoff run. Cifelli expects Leavitt to endure some growing pains but is enthusiastic about the long-term potential of his club.
