Season outlook: The Blue Devils will be a young team with a young coach. Cessario who graduated from Saint Joseph’s College in 2014, inherits a team that graduated its ace, Emerson, but still returns a wealth of pitching. Ullrich, Wing and Wong all threw significant innings a year ago. Lewiston’s infield defense should be solid with an extra year of experience under its belt. Bell covers a lot of territory in center field. Lewiston will have to replace its catcher, Cote, who transferred to Monmouth. The Devils were right in the middle of a crowded and balanced KVAC field a year ago, and this team has the potential to be there again.
