Returning players: Seniors — Colton Lawrence (P), Amos Herrin (P/IF), Tye Nichols (CF), Evan Roberts (P), Anthony Franchetti (C), Brad Durrell (OF); Junior — Ryan Pratt (P/IF).

Key losses: Andrew Pratt, Cam Abbott, Richie Storer.

Promising newcomers: Seniors — Brandon Cardona (IF), Jake Davenport (P/IF), Keeshawn Ferreira (OF); Junior — Thomas Wing (IF); Sophomores — Corey Rogers (1B), Garrett Sullivan (P), Makeo Thompson (OF); Freshman — Ethan Andrews (C).

Season outlook: Boileau, who pitched at Oak Hill and USM, takes over a program coming off tournament appearances at both the high school and American Legion levels. Pitching and defense are solid for the Cougars with eight seniors and six returning starters in the mix. Lawrence and Herrin are a formidable one-two tandem on the mound. Mt. Blue will need to develop a stronger offense as the season progresses. The Cougars expect to turn the corner this season and be a legitimate contender in the KVAC.
