Season outlook: The Ramblers are a veteran team, but they need to find replacement for the top three hitters in the lineup. Hanson, Stratton and Steele each had 19 hits a year ago. Sekerak returns after missing his junior season due to knee surgery. Together with Allen, he forms a solid one-two punch at the top of the rotation. Fortin is still seeking his third starter and said the work may be done by committee. Carter and the Meucci brothers provide pop and solid infield defense. Winthrop should be among the top five teams in the MVC.
