1926 – 2015

AUBURN — Cecile T. Lafrance, 88, of Lewiston, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 28, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin with her family by her side.

She was born in Lewiston, on May 19, 1926, the daughter of the late Alfred and Amanda (Desrochers) Roux and had been a resident of this community all of her life.

Cecile enjoyed playing cards, going out dancing and visiting her camp on Sabattus Lake. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Laureat E. Lafrance of Lewiston, whom she married on Jan. 11, 1947; one sister, Fernande Chouinard of Lewiston; a sister-in-law, Gisele Lavoie of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the staff at the Hospice House of Androscoggin for the excellent care they have given to Cecile.
