LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce held its biggest Not Your Normal Formal annual fundraiser Friday night, with an estimated 375 attendees celebrating the work of the chamber and outgoing President and CEO Chip Morrison.

Music, food, games, contests and an auction with more than 100 items — including vacations, skydiving adventures and dinner parties — contributed to the merriment, with many in attendance wearing nautical garb.

This year the theme was “Sailing into the Sunset” in honor of Morrison, who has headed the organization since November 1995 and will leave the position in May. During that time, the chamber’s programming has expanded greatly and membership has climbed to over 1,400 to make it the largest chamber in the state.

The fundraiser is the largest of the year. Last year, it raised about $45,000 to support the organization.
