1934 – 2015

LEWISTON — Louis L. Lamontagne Jr., 80, of Sabattus passed away on Monday, May 4, at Russell Park Manor.

He was born in Lewiston on May 31, 1934, the son of Louis and Corona Mailhot Lamontagne Sr. Louis married his wife, Silvette, in January 1953 and together, they raised their family.

Louis attended local catholic schools before opening his own business as a carpenter. When he was not working or spending time with his family, he loved to fish or work on his hobby of making stained glass items. He was a member of Our Lady of The Rosary Church in Sabattus.

He is survived by his daughter, Diane and her husband, John R. Wright, of Sabuttus; two sisters, Connie Beaucague and Priscilla Charpentier; two brothers, Robert and Morris Lamontagne; and two grandchildren, Keith and Matthew Wright; and four great-grandchildren, Gage, Ava, Gary and Cadance Wright.
