FARMINGTON — Police said they’re searching for a Farmington man who assaulted his girlfriend and destroyed property at a Holley Road residence early Friday morning.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Jonathan Nurse, 41, on charges of domestic violence assault, domestic criminal mischief and reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon.
According to a news release, the Police Department and Franklin County Sheriff’s Office responded to 825 Holley Road early Friday morning after a woman reported Nurse assaulted her, destroyed a TV and other property with a butterfly knife and demanded she not call police.
The woman and her brother fled the home with her young child and called police, according to the release.
Nurse was gone when police arrived and a search of the area failed to find him.
